WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Sourcing Specialist, your role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and developing strong regional suppliers to ensure JYSK’s product assortment meets quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Supplier Identification & Development: Proactively find and assess potential suppliers through networking and market analysis
- Negotiations: Lead meetings and participate in final negotiations to secure optimal conditions
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with regional suppliers and provide ongoing support to optimize their performance
- Product Quality Assessment: Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with JYSK Supplier Guideline and applicable standards
- Market Analysis & Article Development: Visit competitors and fairs to proactivity discover new articles and share best-seller insights
- Strengthen Sustainability: Monitor and support sustainability targets at the supplier level, in alignment with JYSK’s Science Based Targets initiative goals

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of product standards and compliance regulations
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel (approx. 80–100 days/year) across Romania, Bulgaria, and Balkan countries
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and other relevant languages will be seen as an advantage
